Karma Yoga Ashram is a registered charitable trust aimed at helping people live in secure, healthy and congenital environment, commensurate with their specific needs and aspirations. Keeping all this in mind Karma Yoga Ashram has come forward to lay the foundation for model retreat near Rishikesh. The purpose of this retreat is to provide to our members a comprehensive package of services such as food, shelter, healthcare, recreation and counseling under one roof and set an example as a role model for others.

Garden & Nursery

Gardening is the great source of happiness especially with nature lovers. The Ashram will have its own Garden cum Nursery. The   residents of the ashram can sit in the lush green surroundings in a neat and secure atmosphere. If they are interested in gardening they are welcome to participate.

The Ashram will have a separate room for prayers and meditation. The residents can hold Kirtans, Bhajans, Dhyan, Yoga and   Meditation here. Special discourses on religion and spirituality will also be organized here from time to time. Prayers and meditation will help them overcome stress.

People need food that is nutritious, hygienic and easy to digest. The Ashram will provide to its members clean and nutritious vegetarian food to the best of their taste and needs. The ashram will have a large and neat dining hall enough to accommodate all   the residents together. The food can also served in the rooms for those members who so desire.

The Ashram will have a library containing books on a wide range of subjects such as Religion, Philosophy, Yoga, Meditation etc. The     residents can read variety of newspapers in different languages.

The Ashram will also have a centre for Naturopathy. As a time  tested natural system of health, it rejuvenates body and mind with new life and vigour and is a lasting treatment for various problems such as stress, strain and tension. Diseases like Hypertension,  Diabetes, Asthma, Migraine, Paralysis, Polio, Sciatica etc. which are very common in old age are also effectively cured by Naturopathy.

Every one needs to be engaged in some kind of recreational activity. The Ashram shall have a fully developed recreational  activity. The Ashram shall have a fully developed recreation room  for the residents with  a number of facilities available such as TV, Carom, Chess, Computer with Internet facility etc.
